The Champaign County GIS Consortium (CCGISC) maintains and distributes GIS data and provides a wide-variety of GIS related services to its member agencies and the Champaign County community. In addition, CCGISC develops, maintains, and distributes GIS data and products for Piatt County.

Common Questions

How can I purchase CHAMPAIGN or PIATT County GIS data?

CCGISC provides two options for purchasing data. Imagery and contours can only be obtained with Option 1. Both options require the submission of a signed license agreement.

Option 1:
Purchase individual GIS data layers following the instructions on our Data Requests page.
Option 2:
Purchase an Annual GIS Data Download Subscription from the CCGISC Store. For a list of layers available with a subscription see the Products page.

Are CHAMPAIGN and PIATT County GIS data viewable on-line?

Yes, online access to Champaign County and Piatt County GIS data is available. Up-to-date geographic information is available through online maps that can be queried, marked-up and printed. Users can locate a property and/or access related tax and assessment information through navigation, identification tools, address searches, or parcel identification number (PIN) queries. Users can view current and historic aerial photography.

What is the CCGISC Store?

The CCGISC Store allows users to make on-line purchases. CCGISC offers a variety of products for Champaign County and Piatt County.

What services are available from CCGISC?

CCGISC offers GIS expertise to both public and private entities on a contractual basis. In addition, CCGISC offers customized mapping services. Current and past clients include Carle Hospital, METCAD, Piatt County, Village of Mahomet, City of Urbana, City of Champaign, Urbana-Champaign Sanitary District, Urbana School District, and the Champaign County Housing Authority.
